III Liceum Og lnokształcące im. Unii Lubelskiej is a comprehensive senior high school. It is ranked top 100 in Poland as far as the level of education is concerned (final exam scores combined with Olympiad finalists and winners).

The school has a 99-year tradition and has always specialized in Humanities. However, nowadays there are classes with an extended curriculum of Biology and Chemistry, Math and Physics as well as History and Social Studies. The school is also very active in international co-operation with schools from Portugal, Germany, Romania, Italy, Spain and some others. There are 750 students and 60 members of teaching staff in the school.
